Crossroads.

In partnership with the NCCEEP program located in Windsor Ontario, We were appointed to create a short film that raised awareness for their cause, Anti-violence for at risk kids in the black community.

Through our little experiences and knowledges from some of the kids in the community we were able to write and create a story that really resonated to the youths in the area. Some of the actors were also products of the community, who were able to plug in to an acting role, all because of the relatability they shared with the character we created. So it gave our movie a lot of originality and helped pass the message we were sending, clearly.

The NCCEEP program is ran with an ideal that serves as a guidance for anything they do. It is termed Omoluabi which means good character and it is held by this 9 virtues;

  • Oro Siso (Spoken word, the Yoruba accord great respect for intelligent and expert use of language)

  • Iteriba (Respect)

  • Inu Rere (Good will, Having a good mind towards others)

  • Otito (Truth)

  • Iwa (Character)

  • Akinkanju (Bravery)

  • Ise (Hardwork)

  • Opolo Pipe (Intelligence)[
